The chemical blends the repaired area back in with the surrounding area. I have no idea how it works but it was pretty amazing.  Cost for all materials including training ranges $500 - $1000 which is a pretty cheap investment to start a business.  The learning curve should be less than a couple of weeks to become good enough to do residential or commercial repairs. By the way I called a couple of home builders and they are very interested to have some work done. When a repair person damages a built in sink or appliance they have to either replace the appliance or give a substantial discount to the buyer. Paying $185 for the repair is the cheapest choice.
